Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is very large and conveniently located just meters from Waikiki Beach. The ocean view rooms are spacious, but I experienced some issues with strong food odors and a somewhat disappointing dining experience. Although it offers various activities, the service levels, particularly concerning amenities, could be improved. Overall, it’s a decent hotel, but it doesn't quite deliver a true resort experience.
My experience at the hotel was mixed. While the location is fantastic, just across from Waikiki Beach, and the staff were notably responsive, the room I received was far from what I expected based on the hotel's advertising. The dining options were okay, but not jaw-dropping, and the amenities didn't live up to the luxurious spa hotel promise. Overall, it felt like there were missed opportunities that could have made the stay more special.
This hotel is perfectly positioned just steps away from the beautiful Waikiki Beach, making it an ideal base for beach lovers. The rooms are spacious and clean, with lovely beach-themed decor, although the pool area is quite small compared to other resorts. Dining options nearby are excellent, but communication regarding room bookings and amenities could use some improvement.
I recently stayed at the Marriott Waikiki, and while the property is beautifully located and has potential, my experience was marred by misleading room descriptions and inconsistent service. The hotel's proximity to the beach is fantastic, but I found that the room I booked didn’t match what I expected at all. Plus, the dining options could use some improvement, especially considering the resort fees. Overall, it's a decent choice if you do your research and manage your expectations.
The hotel has a prime location right across from Waikiki Beach, which is a definite plus. However, the service left much to be desired, with delays and frustrations during check-in and interactions with staff. The rooms themselves were nice and clean, offering good amenities, but issues arose with room familiarity and unexpected resort fees. Overall, while the experience had its highlights, it didn't quite meet expectations, especially for a Marriott property.
